Job Description - Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer II (240002OG)
Essential Functions
- Performs all aspects of echocardiography exam without medical supervision.
- Performs administrative tasks to contribute to the successful operation of the department.
- Follows established guidelines for cleaning, storing & disinfecting equipment per Manufacturer, ODH, IAC and JCAHO standards.
- Participates in a learning environment, including continued development and learning of knowledge and skills.

Qualifications
Education
- Graduate of an Accredited Program in Cardiovascular Sonography Required
Work Experience
- 2+ years total clinical experience in echo and at least 6 months pediatric echo Required
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Ability to use all types of echo machines; basic computer skills; good communication skills Required
- Must demonstrate independent scanning ability with proficiency Required
Licenses and Certifications
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
Additional Licenses and Certifications
- RCS Required
- Eligible for Pediatric RDCS or RCCS Required
