A leading acute-care hospital located in central Vermont is now searching for an experienced Nurse Manager Surgical Services to join their accredited healthcare team.

Reporting to the Director Perioperative Services, the Nurse Manager Surgical Services will oversee all clinical and administrative operations of the pre and post operative areas. This surgical department currently operates 5 ORs and specializes in a wide variety of inpatient and outpatient procedures. The Nurse Manager has oversight of department staffing, participates in recruitment, monitors and evaluates staff performance, develops training plans, implements departmental policies and procedures, works to ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, manages department budgets, and participates in various hospital committees.
What’s Needed to Succeed:
- Registered Nurse RN license in the state of Vermont or ability to obtain
- Clinical experience in perioperative, surgical, or similar setting
- Proven leadership experience in former nursing roles
