Overview
The Speech-Language Pathologist evaluates, establishes, and implements treatment programs for patients of all ages referred by a physician. This individual supervises the Registered Speech-Language Pathology Aide (RSLPA) in the delivery of patient care and ancillary staff with department activities.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Graduate of an accredited curriculum in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience:
- Prior experience in Speech-Language Pathology preferred
- Demonstrated competence in the care of populations served which may include neonatal, infant, child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric
- Licensure:
- Licensed as a Speech-Language Pathologist by the state of Georgia
