As part of our Tyvek growth plan, we are seeking a Laboratory Technician (m/f/d) who will support the R&D team in the flash spinning technology development as well as in product development and their introduction into the market.
Your key responsibilities:
- Works in laboratory and production environments safely including identification of appropriate personal safety equipment for handling chemicals.
- Performs laboratory tests under minimum supervision.
- Develops analytical methods and writes job procedures.
- Responsible for method validation in accordance with quality system requirements.
- Responsible for maintaining the operational capability of lab equipment.
- Acquires data to solve technical problems and to support development programs.
- Coordinates and checks work and test requests, communicates test results, and writes reports.
- Provides assistance to R&D test preparation, execution and analysis, complaint investigation, and quality control.
Job qualifications:
- Qualification as a laboratory technician (minimum DUT Chemistry, BTS Analytical Chemistry or other) or academic degree in chemistry.
- Good working knowledge of analytical techniques, particularly gas chromatography and mass spectrometry (GC/MS, GC/MSMS).
- Knowledge in laboratory method development, method validation, and statistical analysis.
- Several years of practical experience in a Material Science or Analytical laboratory is an advantage.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of German, French, and Luxembourgish are a plus.
