Are you passionate about environmental health and safety? Corteva Agriscience is excited to offer a unique EHS Operations Internship as part of our Professional Internship Program for Summer 2025. This is an excellent opportunity for college sophomores, juniors, or graduate students to gain hands-on experience and prepare for a potential career in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) operations within a global leader in agriculture.

Through this internship, you'll gain experience with industrial hygiene, safety assessments, environmental compliance, and more – all while contributing to meaningful projects that make a real difference.
What You'll Do:
- Fieldwork and Assessments: Conduct field surveys on indoor air quality, noise dosimetry, and ventilation at various production sites across the Midwest. You'll also perform chemical agent and noise sampling.
- Data Collection and Reporting: Document sampling activities comprehensively and develop corrective actions based on findings. Follow up to ensure successful implementation.
- Ergonomic and Safety Improvements: Conduct ergonomic assessments and propose actionable improvements. Support ongoing safety and wellness initiatives by participating in and developing training programs.
- Incident Analysis: Analyze incident and near-miss trends, proposing strategies to mitigate future risks.
- Special Projects: Contribute to impactful EHS Operations projects and maintain precise documentation throughout your work.
- Travel and Hands-On Experience: This internship offers significant travel opportunities to different Corteva production locations in the Midwest, giving you a dynamic learning experience in real-world environments.
Qualifications
What We're Looking For:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Post Graduate program majoring in Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time, visiting various production sites across the Midwest.
- A valid U.S. driver's license is required.
Location:
This internship is based in Johnston, IA or Indianapolis, IN, with extensive travel throughout the Midwest.
