- Responsible for the supervision of team members assigned to you and, working together, provide the services of your department to each resident of The Assisted Living Community.
- All of your activities must maintain a holistic perspective of service and total care of all residents. Accountable to supervise and monitor the performance of each team member under your supervision to make certain that the care and services to each resident are delivered in a continuous, predictable, and efficient manner. Coordinate and communicate with all other team members of The Assisted Living Community in maintaining a holistic perspective of service and care.
- Lead by example and make certain that the programs and services led by you maximize each resident's quality of life, identity, interests, abilities, and preferences.
- Provide all resident care, whether personal, nursing, restorative, or rehabilitative, which is beyond the skills of the Resident Assistants under your supervision or which is restricted by law to those licensed to practice nursing in the state in which The Assisted Living Community is located.
- Report to the Care Coordinator emergencies all team members who require training, guidance, or discipline greater than you are capable of or authorized to provide and report any observable changes in all residents' behavior or health status that would indicate a change in their care plan.
- Participate in all required training, orientation, meetings, and programs offered by the employer.
- Personally get to know the residents by communicating with other team members and through direct conversation with residents.
- Participate in formal and informal discussions to identify concerns and confirm recommended actions that reinforce each resident's full potential to live independently and age in place graciously.
- Coordinate and communicate with all other team members in maintaining a holistic perspective of care for each resident.
