Location
Our practice is located in Dorr, Michigan, which is just south of Grand Rapids. Our area is rapidly growing, and therefore, so is our team! We reside in two adjoined buildings that equal nearly 6500sqft of patient care space. Our veterinary hospital has 6 exam rooms, a double surgery suite and a dedicated office space just for you.
Practice Overview
Dorr Veterinary Clinic is a NON-CORPORATE small animal clinic. We offer a wide variety of veterinary care, full grooming services, boarding and doggy daycare services too. We see all breeds of dogs and cats and offer soft tissue surgical services, orthopedic surgeries and a large menu of diagnostic tests at our clinic. We have leading technology, products and resources for our clients. We pride ourselves on being a family-focused employer, with no on-call hours or Sunday shifts. Our team is passionate, humble and up-tone. We operate with a small-town feel, but a commitment to always be up for what the future of veterinary medicine holds.
What You’ll Be Working On
- Build and maintain current and prospective client relationships
- Preventative wellness care, diagnostics and treatments on a variety of small animal cases
- Perform small animal surgeries and dental procedures with opportunity for mentorship
- Ensure quality care and environment for both staff and clients

Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from an accredited program is required
- Be licensed or able to be licensed in the state of Michigan
- Ability to work 20 – 40 hours/week with a combination of Monday – Saturday
- Prior surgical, emergency and/or small animal experience preferred
- Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and continuous learning
- Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail
