ACC is a provider agency that works with people who experience developmental disabilities to assist them in living independently by teaching them life skills so they can meet their goals. No experience needed; all you need is a love for helping people, we will train the rest.
As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you'll work directly with clients either in their homes or within the community of North East Portland, guiding them to reach their goals. This is a Part-Time position (20- 29 hours per week).

Job Duties:
- Work one-on-one with clients to meet their daily needs and achieve their goals. Including but not limited to grocery shopping, light household cleaning/organization, meal preparation and planning, assisting with accessing the community and appointments
- Providing transportation for clients to get out into the community
- Encourage community involvement and discovering hobbies whether in the community or through our group activity program
- Model appropriate social interactions and break down information
- Provide accurate and support centered case management notes
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Desire to help others
- 18 years of age or older with valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation and willing to use personal vehicle to transport clients
- Must possess a clean driving record
- Ability to work in the NE Portland area
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to prepare written reports via computer or smart phone using proper spelling, punctuation, and grammar in the English language
- Flexibility with respect to hours of work and changing conditions
- Training and/or interest in the field of developmental disabilities
