As an RN in our organization, you will:
- Employ Nursing Professional Practice: Assess, identify appropriate nursing diagnoses, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Develop, update, and coordinate the patient's care plan to achieve patient goals and optimize outcomes and transitions across the continuum of care. Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate. Maintain essential competencies required by your specific area of hire and populations served.
- Advocate: Effectively advocate for ethical and holistic care by partnering in care planning to promote the autonomy, dignity, rights, values, and beliefs of those we serve.
- Facilitate Learning: Foster a learning environment for patients/families, nursing, and the healthcare team. Facilitate formal and informal learning opportunities for patients/families, nursing, other healthcare team members, and the community.
- Align Practice with Safety and Quality: Take accountability for safety, identify and correct problems, integrate evidence and best practices into nursing care, and use data and evidence to improve patient outcomes. Recognize the importance of patient safety, self-safety, and environmental safety for achieving optimal outcomes.
- Engage in Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development. Practice to the top of your license within the legal parameters of the Nurse Practice Act, the Nursing Social Policy Statement, the ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses, and specialty standards. Promote a culture of inquiry that explores, integrates, and disseminates research and evidence-based practice.
- Lead in the Practice Setting & Community: Lead and coordinate teams, delegate responsibilities appropriately, coordinate care, and collaborate with others as equal members of the interprofessional care team to integrate nursing knowledge. Model professional behaviors as a representative of the nursing profession.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- National Provider NRP - American Academy of Pediatrics upon hire.
- 1 year of experience in nursing.
Preferred Qualifications:
- National Certification in area of specialty upon hire.
Benefits:
Base Salary: USD $78,000 to $145,000
Eligible external candidates who meet all conditions for payment can receive a hiring bonus of $10,000 and relocation assistance.
Medical and dental insurance will be provided.
These benefits will start on your first day of employment.
