We are seeking a full-time Patient Services Specialist for our busy Ear Nose and Throat Clinic located in the Gateway district of NE Portland. You will work with exceptional physicians who value their team and working together to help our patients get the best possible care.
Our busy practice receives a high volume of patient appointments and calls, and we are searching for an experienced candidate with a friendly demeanor, great positive attitude, and customer-focused work ethic. Candidates must be detail-oriented, strong at multitasking, and dedicated to high-quality patient care.
Primary duties include:
- Welcoming and greeting patients
- Collecting co-pays
- Obtaining and completing insurance information
- Answering phones
- Scheduling new and existing patient appointments
- Scanning and updating records
- Other duties as assigned
Some travel to ENT East Gresham location required on an as-needed basis.
Workdays: Monday-Friday, 7:30 am - 5:00 pm, staggered shift. No Weekends. 8 paid holidays!
Hiring pay based on open position, experience, and credentials:
Level I - $18.33- $24.81 per hour.
Level II - $20.17 - $27.29 per hour.
Level III - $22.18 - $30.01 per hour.
Placement within levels based on specialty group, experience, additional duties.
Medical, Vision, and Rx Insurance: 100% paid for by The Oregon Clinic for full-time employees.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of medical front office experience in a specialty clinic
- Excellent attendance and work ethic
- Positive attitude and desire to be a team player
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with patients, staff, and providers
