As a Primary Therapist, you’ll work thoughtfully with our patients to develop and implement their individualized treatment plans. This role will consist of conducting individual therapy meetings, collaborating with patients’ outpatient teams, and leading patients through their overall treatment program. You’ll partner closely with the entirety of our treatment teams, including Group Therapists, Family Therapists, and Prescribers to ensure comprehensive and compassionate care.
Our centrally located Chicago office is nestled in the vibrant neighborhood of North Center, not to mention the social events hosted on our fully furnished rooftop!
What You’ll Do
- Complete initial intake evaluation to determine diagnosis and appropriateness of program
- Coordinate care with patients’ outside providers to ensure continuity of care
- Provide individual therapy
- Facilitate group therapy and family therapy as needed
- Assess patients’ progress and need for higher level of care, transition plan and/or discharge
- Communicate with patients’ family members or support system as needed
- Chart progress of patients appropriately
- Provide insurance utilization team with updates
- Complete discharge paperwork
- Participate in professional development activities
Who You Are
- Are a Psychologist or Master’s level clinician with 2+ years of clinical experience conducting intake assessments, individual, and group therapy
- Hold the following licenses or certifications: PhD, PsyD, LCSW, or LCPC
- Have knowledge and experience of group dynamics utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), as well as other empirically supported treatments
- Have previous experience with patients in crisis
