Position Summary: Under the direction of the Administrative Nurse, the incumbent is responsible for all management functions related to the delivery of patient care, as well as the quality of nursing practice and the standards of care in the Ortho/Spine Clinic. Supervises and directs all staff and functions in the clinic while maintaining clinical nursing practice skills and clinic specific expertise. Specific duties include managing Human Resources, directing patient care activities, monitoring unit budgets, and participating in departmental and medical center wide performance improvement projects. Serves as a role model and clinical resource to colleagues, staff, patients, and others. Incumbent works closely with the manager and medical director to ensure financial success of the clinic.

Salary Range: Annual Rate Minimum $111,200.00 Midpoint $163,100.00 Maximum $215,000.00
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years experience as a nurse
- Demonstrated ability to effectively supervise and motivate staff through prior lead or supervisory experience
- Understanding of Joint Commission and other applicable regulatory requirements
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
- Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
- Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
- Strong customer service orientation as well as written and oral communication skills
- Complete understanding of acuity levels for the patient population
- All external candidates must have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Ability to maintain flexibility and work well in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
- Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English
- Ability to work variable shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must possess the skill, knowledge, and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
Licenses and Certifications: Basic Life Support(Required), Registered Nurse(Required)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual skills to communicate effectively with patients and families
- Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures, and forms
- ACLS certified or eligibility for certification
