Inpatient Hospitalist - Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant- Piedmont Fayetteville
Piedmont Healthcare is recruiting a hospitalist physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join our team at Piedmont Fayette Hospital. Our hospitalists work a 7 on 7 off schedule offering a consistent and flexible lifestyle.
In this role, you will:
- Examine, evaluate, and treat patients with serious medical conditions, illnesses or injuries.
- Take patient histories, conduct physical examinations, and record data in patients' medical records.
- Evaluate and treat patients to achieve optimal patient care.
- Write progress notes; prepare patient work-ups and summaries noting pertinent positive and negative findings.
- Develop plans of care that minimize complications and successfully troubleshoot problems when they arise. Apply preventative and alternative treatment strategies for possible procedural complications.

Qualifications:
Preferred Qualifications:
2-3 years of Inpatient experience with a high degree of clinical judgment.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with a current Georgia license for Advanced Practice Nursing and a Master's degree in Nursing, OR graduate of an accredited Physician Assistants program with a current license for the Georgia State Composite Board.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Licensed Physician Assistant in the State of Georgia. OR Licensed for Advanced Practice Nursing (ACNP/FNP). Updated NCCPA certification for PA's. BLS and ACLS are required.
