Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery
SLUCare Physician Group, a member of SSM Health, is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible hand surgeon with a specialized interest in microvascular surgery to join the Division of Plastic Surgery in the Department of Surgery.
SLUCare is dedicated to student learning, research, health care, and service. The clinical environment includes the main SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital, a busy urban level 1 trauma center, SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital, the Veterans Affairs Hospital, and two community hospitals within a single system-wide referral network.
We welcome graduates of accredited plastic surgery training programs and accredited hand/microvascular fellowships who are eligible/certified for Surgery of the Hand (SOTH) and are passionate about Plastic Surgery, with a special interest in hand and extremity surgery, microvascular, and comprehensive reconstruction. Candidates with cross-functional additional interests such as breast reconstruction or lymphedema surgery are also encouraged to apply.
SLUCare plastic surgery has a mission of clinical excellence, teaching, and research, with busy clinical volume, integrated plastic surgery residency, and a research university campus. St. Louis is a vibrant Midwest city with a pioneering spirit, innovation, sports, outdoors, and family activities.
In addition to treating patients, SLUCare physicians educate the next generation of health care professionals at SSM Health St. Louis. Our teaching is guided by our Catholic Jesuit tradition, balancing the science of medicine with the soul of it, keeping people first in all we do.
