We are seeking a certified Radiation Therapist to join our dynamic oncology team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in administering radiation treatments and will prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer radiation therapy treatments to patients according to established protocols and physician instructions.
- Prepare and position patients for treatments, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment, adhering to safety standards.
- Collaborate with oncologists and other healthcare professionals to develop and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Monitor patients for any side effects and provide appropriate support and education.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Radiation Therapy or a related field.
- Current certification as a Radiation Therapist (ARRT) and state licensure in Illinois.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
