At Remedy Place, our Per Diem Naturopathic Doctors complement our Naturopathic team to cover the gaps for absences and events. Per Diem Naturopathic Doctors will not receive a set schedule in order to provide additional support when needed. Per Diem Naturopathic Doctors are personable, professional, and confident individuals dedicated to ensuring the health and safety of every guest. As a Per Diem provider, you will have a strong background in holistic healthcare and a passion for natural therapies. You not only bring excellent clinical skills and bedside manner but also possess extensive knowledge to educate guests on basic wellness principles. Proactive and self-driven, you require minimal supervision, demonstrating a keen understanding of responsibilities even during downtimes.
As a team player, you communicate clearly with both guests and staff, fostering a positive and collaborative environment. Guests trust you for professional guidance on vitamin IV therapy, appreciating your comfort in working with diverse personalities, confidence in IV skills, and composure in stressful situations. In a fast-paced setting, you efficiently deliver services with meticulous attention to detail, maintaining an organized and clean working environment. Your expertise includes understanding contraindications, the role and benefit of each nutrient, pros and cons, and the purpose of IV vitamin therapy, allowing you to recommend the most suitable IV options tailored to each guest's primary wellness goal.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform vitals.
- Seamlessly administer patient IV treatments and IM injections.
- Continuously monitor patients during visits to ensure utmost care and safety.
- Conduct initial IV medical consultations / IV good faith exams evaluating potential contraindications.
- Draw ingredients for the IV bags and IM injections from preset and customized formulations.
- Recommend the appropriate IVs, injections, and functional wellness tests for a patient’s particular type of stressors.
- Coordinate care with other team members.
- Chart all relevant notes and patient information on our Electronic Medical Record-keeping system.
- Complete organized and timely tracking of daily revenue, bookings, and other notes.
- Assist in the ordering of inventory for medical supplies (if requested).
- Update inventory and communicate supply needs to the IV Department Team.
- Make patients feel safe, comfortable, and informed during their Remedy Place experience.
- Recommend appropriate nutritional counseling overview with new patients and prospects.
- Provide overviews of the benefits of the IVs/IM injections as well as the other products and services offered at the club.
- Inform patients which products and services would complement their IV/injection treatments.
- Willing to work on other miscellaneous tasks that may be assigned by either the Department Director, IV Lead, or club management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Availability to cover shifts on-site with flexibility to work weekdays and weekends
- Availability to support on-site and off-site events with flexibility to work weekdays and weekends.
- Proactive and self-driven, you require minimal supervision, demonstrating a keen understanding of responsibilities even during downtimes
- ND with an active California Naturopathic Doctor (ND) license
- Has completed a qualifying course on IV therapy from a course provider approved by the California Board to administer intravenous (IV) therapies
- Certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- 3+ years of experience in IV therapy
- 1+ years of intramuscular injections
- Experience in critical care (preferred)
- Must have friendly, approachable, and reassuring bedside manner
- Must be solution-oriented and self-motivated
- Must have a strong work ethic
- Must be organized
- Enthusiastic, energetic, personable, and friendly disposition
- Must enjoy working with a team

Must be able to be walking / standing during work hours
Must be able to be on laptop / phone during work hours
