Overnight Registered Nurse (RN) - $3k Sign on Bonus
Location: Washington, Connecticut
Experience credit applied in addition to base pay capping out at $43.32 per hour.
$3,000 sign on bonus (1/2 paid in your first paycheck and the other 1/2 after 90 days of hire).
$1,560 annual increase for Master degree.
Overtime payment at 1.5x your hourly rate.

This position will be working with all three of our on-campus programs:
- The Glenhome School & Transition Program: For over 50 years, The Glenholme School, part of Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health, has provided a comprehensive residential program and services for children with learning differences and special needs.
- USC Program: In response to the humanitarian crisis at America’s ports of entry, Devereux provides short-term shelter care services for unaccompanied children who have come to the United States without a parent or legal guardian.
Schedule:
11pm-7am, with the option of Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday schedule.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Conduct initial nursing assessments and administer medication.
- Examine students with medical/physical complaints and administer first aid as needed.
- Implement physician’s prescriptions for medication and treatments.
- Maintain medical records of students including medical history, drug reactions, allergies, prescribed medications, immunizations, etc.
- Ensure cleanliness, safety, and security of the Medical Department.
Qualifications:
- Completion of accredited RN program.
- Current and valid RN license in the state of practice.
- At least one year of relevant experience in the field of nursing, particularly with children and youth.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
- Valid driver's license and minimum 21 years of age.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
