GeoTest, Inc. is a leading Wisconsin geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing laboratory. We are ISO/IEC 17025 and WisDOT accredited. We have laboratories in West Allis and Madison. You will be part of a dynamic, growing, and energized team – and your role is key to the success of GeoTest. While your job duties may fluctuate day to day, here are some areas we expect to see you proficient in:
- Geotechnical and construction materials testing laboratory and field work
- Managing and supervising all activities related to laboratory testing
- Performing laboratory tests
- Interpreting test data and preparing reports and summaries
- Calibrating and maintaining lab equipment
- Managing laboratory technicians
- Keeping the laboratory organized and in compliance with QA/QC initiatives, DOT, CMEC, ISO and AASHTO accreditation requirements
- Nuclear gauge and basic concrete and soils certifications
On the Job
- Work is generally Mon-Fri between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm
- Employee would be located in our West Allis office, although occasional daily travel between locations may be necessary.
Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years of work experience in the CMT / geotechnical laboratory, quality assurance experience.
- Good driving record and valid WI driver’s license.
- Must pass pre-employment, non-DOT drug screening.
- Bachelor of Science (Preferred), Associate of Science or HS diploma with extensive experience acceptable.
Pay and Benefits
- Job Types: Full-time, Expected hours: 45 – 50 hours per week.
- Pay: $58,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year, Bonus opportunities, Pay is based on level of prior experience.
