Overview
The Multi-Modality Technologist is qualified/credentialed to perform at a minimum of two (2) MRI, CT, diagnostic, US, IR, Mammography, or Nuclear Medicine procedures. This position must support the second or additional modalities on a routine basis by being available to work in the modality and must be able to provide on-call coverage for these modalities. Strives to provide patient-centered care and upholds the standard of practice of a registered technologist.
Qualifications
Multi-modality (CT/X-Ray Technologist)
FSED- New Kings
Age of Patients Served: All Age Groups.
Required Education: High School Diploma or GED. Specific coursework: Graduate of an accredited Radiology discipline.
Preferred Education: Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology.
Necessary Skills:
- Knowledge of radiographic procedures and practices.
- Communicates exams/procedures to patients.
- Knowledge of computer software and ability to troubleshoot.
- Familiar with imaging equipment and all other patient care equipment.
- Maintain competency in a minimum of two modalities.
Required Licensure/Certifications:
Current BLS Certification from the American Heart Association. Credentialed, certified, or licensed in a minimum of two (2) different Radiology modalities through the state, ARRT, NMTCB, or ARDMS.
Required Experience: 1-2 years of Clinical Radiology Experience.
