The MN School Based Health Alliance is a nonprofit organization that supports the sustainability, quality, equity, and expansion of school-based health care near or inside of Minnesota's schools.
“School-Based Health Center” means a safety net health care delivery model that is located in or near a school and offers holistic medical care - including preventative and behavioral health services provided by licensed health professionals. All students within a school or district can access care regardless of ability to pay, insurance coverage, or immigration status. SBHCs are operated in agreement between a school district and a health care organization.
We are looking for people who are passionate about youth. We are seeking members who can get excited about school-based care in MN and have the expertise as medical, mental health, health education or dental providers or expertise in legal, education, school health and public health fields. Parents and youth leaders 18 years or older are welcome.
