About the Unit/Department/Team
We are growing the critical care team here at Lakewood. In our Emergency Department, we care for about 800 patients per month. The multidisciplinary team caring for these patients includes MDs, APCs, RNs, and LPNs/EMTs. We collaboratively provide a high level of care to our patients and families. We appreciate the system support of growth and innovation in Emergency Department.

To support the Emergency Department and health system to provide personalized, quality care to each patient, every time.
Position Summary
- Provide direct patient care and customer service to internal and external customers at Lakewood.
- Multitask and prioritize patient care.
- Maintain professional patient and system confidentiality.
- Demonstrate critical thinking in stressful situations.
Position Type
This is an hourly full-time position working rotating hours. Every third weekend and rotating holidays are required.
Qualifications
- Current MN Registered Nursing license.
- BLS certification.
Ideal Candidate
- ALS certification preferred.
- TNCC certification preferred.
- Enjoys a fast-paced environment.
- Works well with others.
- Is able to prioritize multiple, competing tasks.
- Thrives with variety in their day-to-day.
