Position Description
The primary purpose of this position is to coordinate the onboarding of all newly hired staff. The Staff Educator will provide ongoing education on a regular basis to align with the needs of the facility.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitor ongoing staff educational needs and access external resources, programs or workshops for continuing education of staff.
- Collaborate with staff to obtain required licensure CEU education in accordance with state licensure/certification requirements.
- Develop, evaluate & control the quality of educational programs in accordance with clinical best practices.
- Assign mandatory training for all staff in Relias and track compliance on a monthly and annual basis.
- Oversee the general orientation for all new employees.
Qualifications
- Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN in this state or compact state.
- Minimum of 2 years RN experience in a skilled nursing center preferred.
