Position Summary:
The Telemetry registered nurse provides direct patient care, in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act, to assigned patients in the Telemetry units. The registered nurse is supportive, compassionate, efficient, detail-oriented team player with excellent interpersonal skills and who collaboratively maintains plan of care for the vulnerable patients.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum Education: Current California RN license. Current American Heart Association BLS certification. ACLS and Initial Dysrythmia Recognition within 90 days of hire. Minimum Experience: Recent acute care experience preferred.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System.
Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload.
Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms.
