The Department of Animal Sciences, Rutgers School of Environmental and Biological Science is seeking a non-tenure track, calendar year Teaching Instructor or Assistant Teaching Professor. Responsibilities will include teaching courses in the Pre-veterinary Medicine/Research, Companion Animal Science, and Equine and Production Animal Science options.
The candidate will be expected to develop and teach undergraduate courses such as Physiology, Animal Nutrition, Pathophysiology, Genetics, and courses on Companion Health and Diseases. The opportunity to develop new courses in the candidate’s area of expertise also exists. The position will also assist with academic first-year, upper-class, and transfer advising for our large undergraduate program and with course assessment and other administrative duties.
This is a 12-month non-tenure-track faculty position.
