Your Role on the Team
Position Summary:
The incumbent is responsible for the supervision and day to day operations of the Clinical Applications Training team. Oversees the planning, coordinating and facilitating of education for all clinical computer applications, software programs and online documentation processes. Incumbent acts as a resource for facilitating staff development and other special projects, as well as serving as a touch point for communication between the IS department and its customers.
What It Takes to be Successful
Required Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of network systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Previous lead or supervisory experience
- Previous Epic experience, either end user or support role
- Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
- Independent problem-solving skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, both in one-to-one and group settings
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated experience organizing, developing and delivering application training for all levels of staff including physicians
- Certification in Epic
- Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
- 5 years of clinical applications training experience, preferably in an academic medical setting
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of University and Medical Center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
- 3-5 years of related clinical experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting
