Pediatric Therapies, Inc. is a therapist-owned, small company serving 12 school districts surrounding Richmond, VA. The small business size allows us to maintain close-knit, long-term friendships with the therapists on our team. Many of the therapists on our team note the dramatic difference in working with a small, local contract company where you get to know everyone in-person and feel supported daily by the team and administration. I am an OT and have served as the owner of the business for the past twenty years. At the school they will serve, I meet each therapist (who is new to the team) their first week of school to help with orientation. In addition to support from the owner, you will be supported by our amazing group administrator who stays in close touch with the entire team. Our group administrator and I maintain clear and open communication with the therapists on our team and the administrators in the counties we serve. As a result, longstanding contracts are maintained within counties for 20 years or more. We provide therapy services to students within the public school system setting in the Southside and Central Region of VA.
Working alongside experienced speech-language pathologists, we support many new graduates during their fellowship year! The SLP or CF will serve a manageable caseload. Within the county, the speech-language pathologist will be fully supported working alongside other full-time speech therapists who come with years of school-based experience. In addition, you will work together with the OT and PT team within the county! It's an awesome group!
