Child & Adolescent Inpatient/Outpatient Psychiatrist
In South Central Pennsylvania
We are seeking an Inpatient/Outpatient Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist to join a team of 50 psychiatrists and 60 psychologists providing services in south central Pennsylvania.
Responsibilities:
- Work at an inpatient psychiatry unit and outpatient locations in the county.
- Schedule typically includes 5 hours each morning on the inpatient unit, managing a caseload of 12-14 patients.
- Participate in all areas of treatment along with a dedicated nurse case manager, case worker, and therapists.
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations for one hour and medicine reviews every 15 minutes in the outpatient service.
- Collaborate with a Medical Support Specialist (MSS) who assists with patient care and acts as a liaison.
- Engage with a full team of social workers, nurse practitioners, and addiction counselors.
- Share weeknight call; weekend call is voluntary and paid separately.
- Provide coverage for admissions, discharges, rounding, and consults during weekend call.
Practice Model: Traditional outpatient practice within a behavioral service continuum.
Benefits:$265,000 salary, sign-on bonus of $25,000, and educational loan reimbursement of $80,000.
