Would you like to live and work close to Virginia Beach and the beautiful Outer Banks of North Carolina? Hickory Veterinary Hospital is located midway between them in Chesapeake, Virginia. We are a full-service hospital, providing exceptional veterinary care to dogs, cats, exotics, and pocket pets. Our hospital has a ratio of 1.5 Licensed Veterinary Technicians per DVM. We welcome pet patients needing regular medical, surgical, and dental care. We also offer repro services, Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine, and Food Therapy. Our outstanding team of Licensed Technicians, Veterinary Assistants, Client Service Representatives, and Kennel Attendants all provide attentive and accomplished support to our doctors as well as our clients. We are growing our hospital and seeking a passionate and caring DVM to join us.
Our Veterinarians provide the highest quality care to our patients while also developing rapport with their owners. In addition to physical examinations, surgeries, and dentistry, client communication and client education are of utmost importance. It is important that SVP Veterinarians treat each pet and client like part of their own family.
