Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple, TX, is seeking a full time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our amazing Level One Emergency Department. Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital is a 636-bed specialty care teaching hospital and the only Level 1 Trauma Center between Dallas and Austin.
ER Charge Nurse - Night Shift

Unit Summary
Busy ER in Level One Trauma Hospital - Certified Chest Pain and Stroke Center. Our Registered Nurse (RN) staff are proficient in Stroke and STEMI activations and established care guidelines.
This is a fast-paced ER environment whose success is dependent on teamwork. We have 50 exam rooms and 6 trauma bays. RNs work closely with ED Providers, Social Workers, Registration, etc. because we are truly in it together!
The Emergency department primarily cares for adult populations, but we do care for pediatric patients as needed.
Registered Nurses (RN) can be involved in Improvement projects, Shared Governance, department committees and councils. Everyone's voice matters.
This unit provides staff the ability to learn new skills, improve time management, and be a part of a team that is focused on making ED experiences 'Better for Everyone.'

Job Summary
Registered Nurse Charge oversees patient care, follows nursing regulations, fulfills organization's priorities, enhancing responsibility to promote mission. Qualifications
- We are looking for someone who has completed an established program in Nursing.
- At least (2) two years RN Experience in the Emergency Department.
- Registered Nurse License.
- You must have Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of being hired.
