Overview
Mercy Medical Group (MMG), a physician-owned and operated multi-specialty group with more than 500 healthcare providers in the Sacramento region, is looking to hire an Orthopedic Surgeon to join their growing division comprised of 16 providers (9 MDs and 7 PAs).
This position is made available by the retirement of a long-tenured general orthopedic surgeon, but both general orthopedics and those with subspecialty training will be considered. The practice will be based in Folsom, CA where the provider will have access to outpatient clinic facilities and OR availability at low-acuity hospital across the street and nearby ASCs. Excellent colleagues with subspecialty training and support, PAs for both clinic and OR, and a large referral base. Excellent quality of life with primarily outpatient practice.
This shareholder track opportunity offers very competitive compensation with significant bonuses, an extensive benefits package, and an excellent retirement plan.
Compensation Range: $583,000 - $618,000 / Year

Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Diagnose and treat medical conditions; develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
- Procedures: Perform surgical and non-surgical procedures; provide pre-operative and post-operative care for patients.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams; foster a collaborative approach.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations.
- Team Collaboration: Work with healthcare professionals and participate in interdisciplinary meetings.
- Quality Improvement: Engage in quality assurance initiatives and analyze clinical outcomes for improvement.
- Compliance: Adhere to ethical standards and stay informed about healthcare regulations.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on medical advancements and participate in ongoing education and training.
Qualifications
- A valid and unrestricted California medical license.
- Board eligible or board certified in specified area of medical specialty (ABMS or AOA).
- Completion of an accredited post-graduate training program.
Pay Range
$280.28 - $297.11 /hour
