Sealy, TX ARDMS Ultrasound Technologist MLR is partnering with a respected healthcare facility just west of Katy, Texas, to find a dedicated and skilled ARDMS Ultrasound Technologist. This full-time role offers an exciting opportunity for a passionate technologist to provide advanced diagnostic imaging services and deliver high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ultrasound Imaging: Perform detailed ultrasound exams across a variety of specialties including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts.
- Patient Interaction: Prepare and position patients for ultrasound procedures, ensuring their comfort and explaining the process clearly.
- Collaboration: Work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to analyze ultrasound results and provide precise diagnostic information.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that ultrasound equipment is maintained and calibrated to meet safety and operational standards.
- Documentation: Accurately record and maintain patient information and imaging results in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
Qualifications:
- Education: Associate’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field.
- Certification: Active ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) certification in relevant specialties such as abdominal, OB/GYN, or vascular.
- Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist, ideally in a hospital or clinical setting.
- Proficiency in using ultrasound equipment and EHR systems.
