Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to perform a variety of diagnostic radiographic procedures, from basic to advanced, under minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will assist physicians in diagnosing or treating patients across all age groups, from infants to the elderly. The position involves working in various diagnostic areas, including operating rooms and trauma settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce high-quality diagnostic radiographs.
- Rotate through advanced diagnostic radiology areas, including but not limited to OR, Urography, trauma, and more specialized procedures like myelography and arthrography.
- Assist practitioners with fluoroscopy and other complex procedures in both routine and trauma settings.
- Ensure completion of assigned tasks within the introductory period and adhere to the highest standards of radiological safety and quality.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program (Associate degree preferred).
- 1-3 years of experience in diagnostic radiology is preferred.
- ARRT certification or registry eligible (must obtain ARRT within one year post-graduation).
- BLS certification (Basic Life Support).
- California Radiologic Technologist license with Fluoroscopy certification.
