As a Director, Field Medical Affairs, you will play a pivotal role as a field-based, medical science liaison leading projects within the General Medicine franchise. The therapeutic area will include an emphasis on dyslipidemia and rare diseases. You will also be expected to play a critical role in several project management initiatives.
We deliver strategic and operational support by establishing, developing, and maintaining scientific exchange with medical specialists, health care professionals, and payers. Additionally, we participate in the development and management of company-sponsored and investigator-initiated studies.
Territory: Focus is TX, IL, & MO, but will also include OK, IN, MI, IA, WI, MN, AR.
A typical day may include the following:- Demonstrates expertise about assigned compounds and the therapeutic area to exchange information and insights.
- Builds, nurtures, and improves relationships with scientific and medical customers and organizations ensuring understanding of evolving healthcare trends.
- Demonstrates proficiency in value/cost of care, hospitalizations, risk of progression, drug pricing pressures, reimbursement/payer education, and market access support.
- Brings impactful information & insights improving the value and appropriate use of Regeneron products.
- Builds and cultivates working relationships across field partners to ensure a coordinated approach when working with customers.
- Sustains expertise in compound data, disease state management, emerging therapies, and the competitive landscape.
- Responds to health care provider inquiries with integrity, compliance, and adherence to legal, regulatory, and Regeneron guidelines, policies & procedures.

To be considered for this position, you need a Clinical/Science degree (MD, OD, PharmD, PhD, DVM) with a minimum of 5 years of field medical affairs (Medical Science Liaison) experience in cardiovascular or rare diseases. Ability to communicate and disseminate scientific and clinical data in response to unsolicited requests for information as appropriate per medical field policy, using oral presentations, written communications, scientific literature, or other approved materials and tools. Must reside within the designated territory with a preference of residence in TX and the Chicago or St Louis metro areas.
Additional Requirements:Project experience implementing field medical initiatives, including project development, initiation, timelines, budget, and outcomes. Demonstrated experience required.

Salary Range (annually): $198,000.00 - $330,000.00
