Description
This full-time position is responsible for providing patient care services, including assessing and managing patients following established standards and practices and within scope of practice. Works collaboratively with physicians.
Core privileges:
- Completion of history and physical examination, consultations, progress notes in timely fashion as specified in the bylaws.
- Conduct preventative screening exams and testing. Identify medical and health risks and need, required knowledge of acute illnesses and occupational health/worker’s compensation.
- Formulate the appropriate differential diagnosis based on the history, physical examination and clinical findings.
- Participate in quality assurance review on a periodic basis, including systematic review of records and treatment plans.
Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Requirements:
- Education: Master's Degree required.
- Experience: 1-2 years’ related experience required.
- Certificate/License/Registration:
- Current registered nurse (RN) license and advanced (APRN) license from the State of Missouri required OR Masters Physician Assistant Studies and Physician Assistant (PA-C) license from the State of Missouri.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
- Current Drug Enforcement Association (DEA) license required/BNDD (within 6 months of hire).
- DOT Physical Certification required (within 6 months of hire).
