LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN)
Hours: 9am-5pm Monday-Friday
About the Clinic for Special Children: Since 1989, the Clinic for Special Children (CSC) has provided patients from primarily Amish and Mennonite communities with innovative, culturally competent, personalized medical care. The CSC cultivates special interest and expertise in genetic disorders of the Plain people and the provision of care to underserved populations.
Position Summary: As a member of the nursing team, the LPN assists in providing day-to-day clinical and administrative services to medically complex children and adults. Daily responsibilities include rooming and assessing patients, EHR documentation, phlebotomy, telephone triage, care coordination, and scheduling patients. This position also participates in research projects and lab initiatives.
Minimum Requirements to apply:
- Active PA LPN
- Obtains/maintains active PALS and BLS certifications.
- Proficiency with EPIC preferred.
