Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – CVICU 48’s
Shift: Nights / 7p-7:30a, 12×4, 48 hrs per week, will also consider 36’s
Length: 13 weeks
Requirements:
- OH License
- Must be able to read and interpret strips
- Experience with A-Lines, vents, drips, sheaths, dialysis, and draw ABGs
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIHSS
- EPIC experience
- Travel experience preferred (local is considered within 50 miles of facility)
Important Notes: Will take first-time travelers, do not need Ohio license.
For 48-hour contracts, OT is paid out after 48 hours.
Selling Points: Open to the possibility of block schedule, must work EOH and EOW, free gym membership, and free parking.
Must have the following requirements:
- Pass an online EKG tele competency assessment before starting the assignment.
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required – must be able to read and interpret strips.
- Experience with A-Lines, vents, drips, sheaths, dialysis, and draw ABGs.
- EPIC experience Required.

Working with Tele/drips/vents.
Typically runs 1:2-36 bed units.
Navy Blue Scrubs.

Cardiovascular intensive care unit (CVICU) travel nurse jobs provide care to acutely ill patients recovering from cardiothoracic (CTICU) conditions or events, such as open heart surgery, AAA repairs, and CABG. A CVICU travel nurse must be capable of administering care on a full spectrum, from clinical tasks such as medical history analysis and diagnostic testing to personal care such as counseling patients and families regarding home-care and wellness. Overall, the CVICU nurse treats some of the most acutely ill patients in the hospital and must do so safely and compassionately.
