Job Title: Patient Care Services Manager

The Patient Care Services Manager will coordinate and perform a diverse set of support tasks, managing both Patient Care Coordinator staff within all 6 locations and the department, to ensure the organization has the quality staff and resources needed to operate efficiently. Identifies and formulates department processes and improvements while also managing employee performances and setting initiatives for success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise Patient Care Coordinator team within all 6 locations while working with other departments to provide constructive feedback and process improvement for employees and the overall department.
- Manage the recruitment and onboarding of new hires.
- Create and manage staff schedules and leave.
- Timesheet management and bi-weekly approvals for all patient care coordinators.
- Conduct employee performance assessments and set initiatives for employee growth, improvements and training opportunities.
- Defining and implementing objectives and procedures to enhance customer service, patient satisfaction and workflow efficiencies.
- Utilize practice resources to identify necessary areas of improvement within the department and the practice.
- Ensure internal policies are being followed and involvement with HR concerns or performance improvement programs.
- Manage patient and referral concerns and dissatisfactions while providing exceptional customer service.
- Collaborate with revenue cycle management team for billing and insurance process changes and staff updates.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA as well as internal policies.
- Hold leadership meetings with all levels of the organization.
- Communicates/supports corporate initiatives.
- Supports in managing practice software and implementations with new software programs.
- Manages other projects as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of management experience.
- Related field and dental office experience preferred.
- Must have clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of both staff and patient information.
- Ability to problem solve and process improvement strategies.
- Must be able to work on multiple tasks and projects, often under pressure.
- Must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 8-hour shift
- Travel: This leader will travel to all 6 practice locations. Must have reliable transportation.
