Your Role:
This clinical leadership position is responsible for provision of effective management and leadership of clinical services, programs, and staff. This includes supervision of the following: registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, physical therapists, physical therapy assistants, occupational therapists, occupational therapy assistants, speech language pathologists, social workers, and home health aides. Using the theoretical model of Quadruple Aim the Clinical Manager leads, guides, supports, and directs staff to provide highly reliable, evidenced based, patient-family centered quality interprofessional care. This position reports to the Clinical Director.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Clinical specialty certification, highly desirable.
- OASIS certification, preferred.
- License/Certifications: Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse license to practice in the State of Maine. Current certification in Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers.
- Experience: Three years of clinical experience; supervisory and home health management experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of OASIS required.
- Current certification in Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers.
- Proficient with Electronic Health Record, OASIS, and PDGM.
- Working knowledge regarding content, interpretation and implementation of agency policies and procedures.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to manage in an inter professional team to achieve Agency goals and quality care outcomes.
- Working knowledge of the Medicare Conditions of Participation for Home Care and Maine State home health licensing regulations.
