Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – Medical Surgical – Overflow 48’s
Length: 13 weeks
Requirements:
- MI License
- 1 Year Experience
- AHA BLS
Other Details:
- Will float to other Med Surg units
- Must be willing to work with a variety of staff (i.e., RN, LPN, Techs, etc.)
- Floating depends on need - typically float to other units once per week
- Staffing Ratio 1:5-6 for nights
- COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Not Required
- Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Required – Medical Exemptions Only
Information Regarding Observation Unit:
10 Bed ER Overflow
Focus on constant reassessment of readiness of patients for discharge. This unit will be rapidly admitting and discharging patients.
Weekend Requirement: Will work every other weekend.
Information Regarding the Other Med Surg Units:
We all see a good mix of medical patients.
Staffing Ratio 1:5-6 for nights. Ratios may flex to 8 patients but RN will be paired with LPN for support in these instances.
Variety of staff work on this unit and other Med/Surg units (i.e., RNs, LPNs, Techs, etc).
Other Requirements:
- Must be willing to work with a variety of staff (i.e., RN, LPN, Techs, etc.)
- Cannot guarantee/approve block scheduling at this time
- Michigan RN License
- BLS (AHA)
- Minimum 1 year Required
- Floating depends on need - typically float to other units once per week
- There is no guarantee that holiday time off requests will be accepted as holidays are usually required.
