ResponsibilitiesThe role of the Speech Language Pathologist is to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient/family speech therapy needs for patients aged neonate/infant (birth to 1 year), pediatric (1-12 years), adolescent (12-18), adult (18-65 years), and geriatric (over 65 years). The Speech Language Pathologist will maintain documentation on patient treatments, evaluate, assess, plan, and implement treatment according to the findings. This role addresses educational needs for patients, families, and other health care providers; manages patient care assignments as well as other organizational tasks related to patient and departmental operations; acts in a clinical leadership role; applies knowledge of growth and development in patient interactions; and performs other related duties as needed.
QualificationsRequired:
- Master Degree
- Certified Speech Language Pathology (National) - Must obtain Certified Speech Language Pathology (National) within 24 months of hire. AND Speech Language Pathology (IN)
Desired:
- One year of speech/language pathology experience in a healthcare setting.
- Doctorate Degree
