Certifications or Licensures Required: ARRT & State Licensure, Basic Life Support
Experience Required: 1 year of Experience
Job Responsibilities:
- Follow physicians' orders regarding the area of the body to scan.
- Position patients and equipment for imaging.
- Answer patients' questions regarding procedures.
- Use imaging equipment to capture images of tissues, bones, organs, and vessels.
- Assist in the administration of radiation therapy treatments or radiopharmaceuticals.
Qualifications/Skills
- Basic Life Support certification required.
- Active status as a Registered Technologist-Radiography through American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or Graduate of an approved training program in Radiologic Technology.
- Current Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) license as Radiologic Technologist or a current ISDH Radiology Student Permit.
