Overview
Provides comprehensive healthcare to patients in collaboration with physicians and other medical staff in a clinic setting, including medical evaluation, treatment, counseling and referrals.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Demonstrates clinical care that is safe, best outcome practice with all Core Measures compliant.
- Documents care provision per CMCC standards.
- Collaborates with physicians and other health care providers.
- Evaluates, treats, counsels and refers patients as appropriate.
- Provides comprehensive health care to patients in collaboration with physician.
- Writes prescriptions according to protocols.
- Teaches wellness and educates patients on prevention of potential health problems.
- Completes assigned work as scheduled in allotted time frame.
- Engages in departmental/hospital committees, PI projects, educational offerings to peers, mentoring/precepting of new team members.
- Attends staff meetings, completes all required competencies and mandatory education as assigned.
- Seeks training, educational, certification and enhancement in area focus/specialty.
- Demonstrates behavior standards that enhance positive interactions with physicians, peers, patients and family members.
- Completes other duties as requested/assigned.
