Overview

Provides comprehensive healthcare to patients in collaboration with physicians and other medical staff in a clinic setting, including medical evaluation, treatment, counseling and referrals.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Demonstrates clinical care that is safe, best outcome practice with all Core Measures compliant.
Documents care provision per CMCC standards.
Collaborates with physicians and other health care providers.
Evaluates, treats, counsels and refers patients as appropriate.
Provides comprehensive health care to patients in collaboration with physician.
Writes prescriptions according to protocols.
Teaches wellness and educates patients on prevention of potential health problems.
Completes assigned work as scheduled in allotted time frame.
Engages in departmental/hospital committees, PI projects, educational offerings to peers, mentoring/precepting of new team members.
Attends staff meetings, completes all required competencies and mandatory education as assigned.
Seeks training, educational, certification and enhancement in area focus/specialty.
Demonstrates behavior standards that enhance positive interactions with physicians, peers, patients and family members.
Completes other duties as requested/assigned.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS

Education
- Bachelor’s Degree
Licensure/Certification/Registration
- Florida PA License
- BLS
- ACLS
- NRP
