Computed Tomography (CT) - CT Technologist
Location: West Reading, Pennsylvania
Shift:
- 12:00pm-12:00am every other weekend including call and holiday rotations.
- Monday-Friday 3:00pm-11:30pm Every 3rd weekend, on call and holiday rotation required.
Summary:
The CT Technologist performs CT imaging according to established protocol to obtain diagnostic information as ordered by the physician. They must demonstrate an understanding of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, and medical terminology. Preparation and administration of contrast media is performed in accordance with hospital policy. The use of critical thinking, professional and ethical judgment is to be demonstrated in the quality of care delivered.
Experience:
A minimum of one (1) year experience in Computed Tomography (CT) required.
Education:
Post High School Diploma Program required
Certification | Licensure:
RT (R) (ARRT) or RT (R) (CT) (ARRT) or RT (N) (CT) (ARRT)
Skills:
- Must be confident and articulate in speaking with clients and/or physicians.
- Able to work accurately, independently, efficiently under pressure and effectively with others in stressful situations required.
- Basic Computer skills.
