Job Description: As an Associate Veterinarian at All Pets Center, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional veterinary care to our community's beloved pets. Our loyal and long-term clientele is continuously supplemented by new client visits, helping All Pets Center stay busy, grow, and thrive. Our practice is dedicated to fostering a positive and collaborative work environment, and we are seeking a passionate veterinarian to join our team in a full or part time position. Any experience level will be considered.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive medical examinations of small animals to diagnose and treat illnesses, injuries, and other health conditions.
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans, including prescribing medications, recommending surgery, and advising on other therapeutic interventions.
- Perform surgical procedures, including spaying/neutering, dental surgeries, and other routine and complex surgeries.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood work, X-rays, and ultrasounds, to aid in accurate diagnoses.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners, discussing treatment plans, providing education on pet care, and addressing any concerns or questions.
- Collaborate with other veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and support staff to ensure comprehensive and effective patient care.
- Stay informed about the latest developments in veterinary medicine through continuous learning and professional development.
Requirements:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or Veterinary Medical Doctor (VMD) degree.
- State veterinary license in good standing.
- Proficient in performing routine surgical procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
