Laboratory Specialist
Responsibilities:
- Execute laboratory testing on pharmaceutical drug packaging and device products.
- Utilize various laboratory instruments including those relevant to container closure integrity, mechanical performance, dimensional analysis, and package distribution simulation.
- Maintain and complete accurate records.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma Required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum 3+ years of prior laboratory experience required.
- Must have prior laboratory experience and be capable of learning and operating state-of-the-art laboratory instruments.
- Experience with benchtop lab equipment and testing required.
- Medical packaging experience required.
- Experience testing in the previously mentioned four specific areas a plus.
- Record-keeping and documentation experience required.
- Experience with Protein Electrophoresis, Western Blotting, Agarose Electrophoresis, and UV Transilluminators preferred.
- Must be familiar with general safety procedures and guidelines.
- Must be self-motivated and have a strong attention to detail.
Rate/Hours:
- $34.00/hr - $39.00/hr
- This is a fully onsite position in Lake Forest, IL.
- Monday - Friday; 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
