Overview
Our affiliated practice Emerald Coast OBGYN is seeking a Full Time Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) in Panama City, Florida. Emerald Coast OBGYN, LLC is a single-specialty practice dedicated to providing excellent medical care exclusively in women’s health services.
Position Description/Highlights:
- No call requirement
- Schedule: 4-day work week
- Patient Load: 18-21 patients per day
- Perform patient exams, screenings, treatments, and record patient health history.
- Prescribe medications, therapies, order diagnostic testing and perform procedures, such as Colposcopies, EMBX, IUD/Nexplanon insertions and removals.
- Provide family planning services, well-woman exams, patient education, and counseling.
- Work closely with our board-certified physicians to provide excellent patient care.
- Experienced medical team and support staff to assist with day-to-day patient care.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years as a practicing full time WHNP.
- NCC Board Certification.
- Unrestricted, active licensure in the State of Florida or ability to obtain.
- Current unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain.
- BLS Certification or ability to obtain.
- Proficient in assessment and development of treatment plans.
- Ability to communicate with patients, providers, team members, and management.
- Ability to make patient care decisions based on the best medical practices without direct supervision by a physician.
