Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Phlebotomist
Position type: Full-time Contract, potential contract to hire
Duration: 3+ months
Location: Asheville North Carolina 28801 United States
Shift/Schedule: 1st Shift Mon-Fri 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM
As a Phlebotomist, your responsibilities include:
- Experience doing blood draws, labelling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information.
- Collecting and storing specimens according to established procedures.
- Demonstrating techniques using straight needles and/or butterfly needles.
- Processing urine.
- Answering telephone calls and reading laboratory results to satisfy inquiries.
- Good with hard sticks and pediatric patients.
- Attending annual department trainings.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- High School Diploma or GED and 2-4 years of experience.

Pay Range and Benefits:
Pay Range: $20/hr to $20.50/hr.
