Rockwood, TX Ultrasound Technologist MLR (MLee Recruiting) is seeking a full-time, permanent, direct-hire Ultrasound Technologist to join a dynamic team at an established acute-care hospital located near Brownwood, Texas!
Pay: $61,768 per year - $85,429 per year
Ultrasound Technologist Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Preparation: Position and prepare patients for ultrasound examinations, prioritizing their comfort and safety.
- Equipment Operation: Operate ultrasound machinery to capture high-quality images of internal anatomy.
- Schedule: Work three 12-hour shifts from 8:30 AM to 8:30 PM, Thursday through Saturday.
- Image Analysis: Assess and interpret ultrasound images to assist in diagnosing medical conditions and informing treatment plans.
- Documentation: Maintain thorough and accurate records of patient history, procedures conducted, and diagnostic results.
- Collaboration: Work in conjunction with physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to review findings and enhance patient care plans.
- Maintenance: Ensure ultrasound equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and promptly report any issues.
- Patient Education: Clearly explain procedures to patients, address their inquiries, and provide follow-up care instructions.
Ultrasound Tech Requirements:
- Graduate of accredited Radiology or Ultrasound program.
- 1 Year in Ultrasound.
- ARRT or ARDMS.
- Provider basic cardiac life support.
- Texas Medical Board-MRT or ARDMS.
- Maintains professional appearance at all times.
- Ability to handle confidential information.
