Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our client's patient-focused team in Burlington, VT. This role requires in-person reporting and does not involve travel. Work hours are Monday to Friday, 9am-5:30pm, with rotating call coverage including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Call will be every 12 days: 24 hours on weekends (7am Saturday to 7am Sunday) or 14 hours on weeknights (5pm-7am). Call pay is provided for carrying a pager, with overtime and shift differentials if called in.
Responsibilities:
- Perform clinical and research nuclear medicine tests and therapeutic procedures, including general studies and cardiac studies, along with the associated computer interactions.
- Provide clinical instruction to nuclear medicine students and other personnel as needed.
- Contribute to the development of policies, procedures, standards, objectives, and quality assurance needs for Nuclear Medicine services.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited program in Nuclear Medicine with an Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
- Active ARRT certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology or active NMTCB (CNMT) certification.
- Vermont Nuclear Medicine Technologist license or eligibility to obtain the state license.
- Verification of college transcripts is required; be prepared to provide a copy if invited for an interview.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Epic EMR.
- PET/CT experience.
- Experience in a Level I trauma center.
- One year of paid nuclear medicine technologist experience.
