Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as an Entry Level LPN. As an LPN, you will be responsible for non-clinical patient follow-up visits and organizing information in the electronic medical records. The LPN is an entry level respiratory support position with growth potential within the Respiratory department. This is a hands-on supportive position, which is customer service oriented, in a fast-paced environment and requires experience monitoring patient status and equipment. Reports to: Departmental Lead, Supervisor or Manager
Job Type: Full-time, 40 hours per week with on-call responsibilities
Location: Westwood, MA
Requirements
- LPN Licensed
- Valid Driver’s license
- Clean Driving record
- Must have at least one year of home care, critical care, LTAC or long-term care experience
- Mechanical Ventilator and Pediatric experience is a major advantage
- Must have solid working knowledge of charting in EMR
- Must have a general knowledge of medical equipment
Job Responsibilities, included but not limited to:
- Data entry and scanning into patient charting system
- Updates visit spreadsheets, and shared document files as directed
- Completes Non-Clinical Follow-Ups and completes Documentation in EMR
- Document and maintains updates for all patient visits
- Conducts in-person monthly or quarterly follow-up visits
- Exchange Medical equipment under the supervision of the respiratory therapist
- Participates in the On-Call Program
- Must follow infection control practices and PPE policies established by the company
- Other duties as assigned

This position is highly active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, twisting, and climbing all day. The ability to see distinctions in colors and shapes is also required. Coordinate fine and gross motor movements and hand/eye movement. Maintain balance from any position. Negotiate level surfaces, ramps, and stairs. Function with both hands free for performing psychomotor tasks. The employee must frequently lift and/or move 20-35 pounds.
